Wastewater treatment is a process we use to remove pollutants from wastewater originating from various facilities, whether they be domestic, commercial, or industrial. This process transforms wastewater into more useful products. Our Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP) are composed of preliminary, primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment stages.

In the preliminary stage, wastewater is treated to reduce its quality into biodegradable waste. It then undergoes primary and secondary treatment where main pollutants such as BOD, COD, TSS, Oil and Grease, Nutrients are removed. This process yields waste sludge as a by-product, which can be used as a soil conditioner.

The tertiary treatment is applied to further convert the treated effluent into more usable forms of water reuse. This water can be used for non-contact applications such as flushing, washing, and gardening. In essence, wastewater treatment upscales wastewater into more valuable forms, instead of directly discharging it to receiving bodies of water, which could cause harm to health and the environment.
